Eastern Conference Teams Gear Up for Competitive NBA Season

The Cleveland Cavaliers, who topped the conference with a remarkable 64-18 record during the 2024-25 season, are set to lead the charge into the new season.

The Cavaliers boasted the league’s highest offensive rating (OffRtg) at 121.0, demonstrating their capacity to light up the scoreboard. However, their defensive rating (DefRtg) was slightly less impressive, ranking eighth in the league at 111.8. Overall, Cleveland achieved a net rating (NetRtg) of +9.2, placing them third among all teams. Despite their strong offensive showing, the Cavaliers faced challenges in their postseason run, particularly concerning their defensive performance against the Indiana Pacers.
