This cafe is reportedly owned by Khuc and her husband and has been operating since 2004. Prior to the first transfer from Kinsley accounts, the cafe’s bank account had a negative balance as of April 2024. It was alleged that Khuc used this account to pay for business expenses, including supplies and payroll.
On July 9, 2025, police attempted to speak with Khuc regarding the investigation; however, she declined to provide any information, stating she had legal representation.
