From 10 p.m. on Friday until 5 a.m. on Monday, all outer lanes on the upper level of the terminal will be off-limits to traffic as part of an ongoing multi-billion dollar enhancement plan at the airport.

Camp Creek, creating additional challenges for those trying to access the airport or navigate nearby roads.

ParkATL shuttle users have been advised to take note of temporary changes in pick-up and drop-off locations; pick-up will occur at the lower level outside Door LS2, while drop-off will proceed at the North Terminal outside Door LN1.

MARTA’s Garnett Station rail service will also be closed for upgrades from Saturday until October 26, further limiting mass transit options for passengers traveling to and from the airport. This closure is part of a broader initiative to enhance the efficiency and quality of metro rail services.

Perry Boulevard and West Marietta Street starting September 15. This initiative aims to improve the condition of city roads but may add to congestion and delays on top of existing construction activities around the airport.

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced a temporary pause on construction work on the I-75/I-85 Downtown Connector. This measure, taken specifically for the weekend to accommodate travel for attendees of the Georgia Tech football game against Clemson, aims to ease traffic flow in and around downtown Atlanta.
