Froedtert Hospital, part of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network, is Milwaukee’s premier academic medical center. With 702 beds and operating the region’s only adult Level I Trauma Center, it serves as a leading referral hub for advanced care and research.
As an academic center affiliated with Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert is deeply engaged in clinical trials and medical research. The network encompasses over 2,300 physicians across 10 hospitals and 45+ clinics, supporting more than 57,500 inpatient admissions and 1.6 million outpatient visits annually.

The campus includes the internationally recognized Froedtert & MCW Cancer Center, Eye Institute, and full spectrum inpatient and outpatient services. Cutting-edge diagnostics, imaging, and multidisciplinary care teams are available onsite to provide seamless patient care.
Froedtert serves as a major teaching hospital for medical students, residents, and fellows. It works closely with the Medical College of Wisconsin to train future health professionals and provide community education through outreach programs.
