Oss, The Netherlands – Heesen Yachts has announced the unveiling of Project Grace, marking a significant milestone in the luxury yachting industry with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2028. This yacht is the inaugural vessel in Heesen’s newly developed 50M Steel FHDF series, setting the stage for future innovations in yacht design and functionality.

The construction of Project Grace began at Heesen’s subcontractor facility located in Franeker, The Netherlands. The completed steel hull undertook a meticulous and carefully coordinated barge journey through local canals to reach Heesen’s headquarters in Oss, where final assembly and outfitting will take place. An array of features, including an aluminum superstructure, has been secured with twin MAN engines already installed.

Project Grace is propelled by two powerful 12-cylinder MAN D2862 LE438 engines, each delivering an impressive 1,200 horsepower. This propulsion system is designed to not only meet but exceed international emissions regulations, allowing the yacht to achieve a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots. Additionally, the maximum speed is projected to reach 15.5 knots, offering both performance and efficiency to potential owners.

The yacht features an interior designed by the renowned studio Harrison Eidsgaard, which emphasizes family-friendly and casually elegant spaces. Accommodations on board will allow for up to 12 guests, spread across six staterooms, making it suitable for both extended stays and quick visits alike.

For outdoor leisure and entertainment, the sundeck of Project Grace is an impressive area, capable of hosting lunches and dinners while at anchor, easily catering to nearly twenty guests for special celebrations. The aft-deck terrace is outfitted with an infinity pool and a large swim platform, ideal for various water sports activities. Additionally, ample foredeck space is provided for storing water toys, ensuring the rear remains spacious for relaxation and leisure activities.

The overall length of Project Grace is 163 feet 8 inches (49.9 meters), with a beam of 30 feet 6 inches (9.6 meters) and a draft measuring approximately 8 feet 4 inches (2.55 meters) at half load. The construction has been carried out on speculation, showcasing Heesen’s capability in innovating yacht designs and meeting contemporary maritime demands.

Currently, Project Grace is available for sale, signaling an enticing opportunity for discerning yacht owners seeking elegance, performance, and exceptional design in their maritime experience. Heesen Yachts’ Chief Commercial Officer has expressed confidence in the yacht’s appeal, underlining the design’s careful consideration of power and efficiency tailored to meet the performance goals of this remarkable vessel.

As the luxury yachting sector continues to evolve, Project Grace stands out as a testament to Heesen Yachts’ dedication to quality, design innovation, and excellence in craftsmanship, promising to redefine expectations in the world of high-end yachting.
